Eureka Boss SmartVac 4870MZ Review
Reviewers say the Eureka SmartVac 4870MZ (and others in the 4870 series) is the best value in a bagging upright vacuum cleaner. They say it cleans as well as or better than more expensive models, and it does a very good job of picking up pet hair on carpeting. However, at 21 pounds, this vacuum can be cumbersome to push and hard to carry up and down stairs. The 16-pound Hoover Tempo WidepathU5140-900 is also worth a look on the value end of the spectrum. Its brush roll can't be turned off, however, so it's not the best choice for vacuuming bare floors.
